The following reservations are for COVID-19 Rapid Testing ONLY.
*We are currently not accepting insurance for rapid tests. Cost is $150.*
You will not see a doctor or PA for a rapid test. This is a tech-only visit.
When you register for this test, you will see the following acknowledgement and be asked to initial it.
Please read this BEFORE signing up for a rapid test.
PLEASE READ: Patients can use their health insurance to be evaluated by a Provider for medical necessity for Covid-19 testing and if determined, a PCR send-off test can be done -- considered the “gold standard.” Currently, results come back in 1-3 days. You could possibly have a lower out-of-pocket cost for this visit after it's billed to your health insurance. However, individuals have the right to have testing that they do not wish to submit to insurance or the government for reimbursement. Self-pay rapid testing with Physicians Urgent Care (PUC) is a fast, convenient option where you can register from your phone and pay directly for the test alone. The test is performed by a medical assistant and you are not evaluated by a Doctor or PA. By scheduling a rapid test, you are acknowledging that you do not want to see a Provider today and you do not want to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier or the government. You understand that services purchased today are solely your financial responsibility. We will not be able to provide certain information that some insurance companies require for reimbursement such as diagnosis code or provider NPI.
To see a provider for a medical evaluation,
please reserve a spot online at our Brentwood or Franklin locations. No rapid tests are done at our other locations.
*Rapid Tests may NOT be sufficient for out-of-state or foreign country travel. Many health departments in several states require the PCR test for entry. If you have had symptoms for more than 5 days, there is an increased chance of a false negative test. If you have been exposed and do not have symptoms and your exposure is less than 7 days, you may also receive a false negative test. Minors must be accompanied by their guardian.
But first, please make sure you don't
need to call 911.
