Should I go to Urgent Care or the ER?
MedPoint teams do their best to see you quickly, whether you walk in or use Save My Spot. When you use Save My Spot, you are adding your name to a list of patients who have chosen to be seen at this urgent care location. The wait list is based on estimated times and is not a guarantee that you will be seen at a particular time. Your wait time will vary based on the number of all patients who come to our location and the severity of their care needs. Patients who come in after you with a more serious problem will be seen before you.
Bring your insurance card and photo ID with you. MedPoint may call you to gather pre-registration information.
PLEASE NOTE: In fairness to our other patients, if you are more than 10 minutes late for your visit, you may be removed from the line.
During times of high volumes your visit may be moved, or in rare instances cancelled. If this occurs you will be notified by a member of our team who will work with you to find another time that is convenient for you.
Due to a national shortage, rapid COVID-19 tests may not be available. Please plan to allow 24 to 48 hours to receive your COVID-19 test results. If you get tested because you have symptoms or were potentially exposed to the virus, you should stay away from others pending your results and follow the advice of your health care provider or a public health professional.
